H.T.M. Magyar-Osztrák Ipari, Szolgáltató és Kereskedelmi Zrt. submitted an application for a union grant of 40 million Hungarian Forints for ‘Company innovation grant’ under the Economic Development Operational Programme (GOP) of the New Széchenyi Plan. The total cost of the project called ‘The establishment of High-Tech technology at H.T.M. Zrt.’ is 149.8 million Forints.

H.T.M. Kft., the legal predecessor of H.T.M. Zrt., was founded as a small venture in 1992 as a company with 80% foreign ownership and employed about 20 workers.  The main profile of the company included the manufacturing, altering and repairing of industrial tools.

The company was changed to a private limited company (Zrt) on 1 April 2009 and now operates as the subsidiary of Haidlmair group, employing over 80 people.

Our activities can be classified into three main fields:

tool engineering:

  • cold and hot forming tools
  • aluminium die
  • press tools
  • die casting moulds
  • injection moulds

manufacturing of tool houses

  • manufacturing of tool houses for injection moulds for our affiliated company

line production

  • processing of turbine parts for the energy industry

Research and development are inevitable at our company to maintain competitiveness and to increase efficiency, assisting us in developing new processing, manufacturing and measuring technologies required for meeting our customers’ needs at a higher level.

Our aim with the present R+D project is to develop the cutting and measuring technology related to component parts made of special alloys and provided with ceramic coat used at extremely high temperatures and to develop the production technology of units installed in internal car elements (seats) to increase comfort.

Our objective is to achieve the accuracy, surface shape and dimension, tolerance, surface hardness, and crack-free processing technology required by the customers. The tool developed by us has to be able to process the complicated geometry sheet and plastic design, ensuring accurate joints and material characteristics for special movements.
